Ingredients
Cold Brew Coffee
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
Add-ins
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup or sweetener
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Milk & Ice
- 1/4 cup milk or cream

Instructions
- Mix the coffee base: In a mixing cup, combine the cold brew coffee, simple syrup, and vanilla extract if using. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved and the ingredients are blended.
- Prepare the glass: Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes to chill the drink and keep it refreshingly cold.
- Pour coffee over ice: Pour the coffee mixture over the ice-filled glass carefully to maintain the chill and create a nice layered foundation.
- Add milk or cream: Slowly pour the 1/4 cup of milk or cream over the coffee to create a layered, visually appealing effect and to enrich the drink with creaminess.
- Serve: Stir gently if you prefer a uniform flavor throughout, or leave layered for an aesthetic presentation. Serve immediately for best taste and freshness.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup or sweetener according to your taste.
- The vanilla extract adds a subtle depth of flavor but can be omitted if preferred.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute milk or cream with almond, oat, or coconut milk.
- Using freshly brewed cold brew coffee enhances the smoothness and flavor of the iced coffee.
