Description

Celebrate Easter with these delightful slow cooker Easter candy clusters combining honey roasted and salted peanuts, pastel M&Ms, mini marshmallows, and creamy vanilla almond bark. Easy to prepare and perfect for sharing!

Ingredients

Nuts and Candies

  • 16 Ounces honey roasted peanuts
  • 16 Ounces roasted salted peanuts
  • 1 Cup pastel color M&Ms
  • 1 ½ Cups mini marshmallows
  • Extra M&Ms (pastel colors) for topping
  • Bunny sprinkles mix for decoration

Chocolate

  • 48 Ounces vanilla almond bark

Instructions

  1. Spread the peanuts: Place the honey roasted and roasted salted peanuts in an even layer in your slow cooker.
  2. Break up almond bark: Break the vanilla almond bark into smaller pieces and add it on top of the peanuts in the slow cooker.
  3. Cook and melt: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 1 hour or until the almond bark has melted. Stir the mixture to combine thoroughly.
  4. Check consistency: If the mixture isn’t fully melted and smooth after an hour, continue cooking and stirring every 15 minutes until it is.
  5. Cool mixture: Turn off the slow cooker and allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for 30 to 45 minutes. The mixture should be still melted but cool enough so that the M&Ms and marshmallows won’t melt when added.
  6. Prepare baking sheets: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper to place the candy clusters.
  7. Stir in mix-ins: Gently fold the pastel M&Ms and mini marshmallows into the cooled melted mixture.
  8. Scoop clusters: Using a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop, drop clusters onto the lined baking sheets, spacing them out evenly.
  9. Top clusters: Decorate each cluster with 2 or 3 extra pastel M&Ms and a sprinkle of bunny sprinkles for a festive touch.
  10. Set candies: Let the candy clusters set at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes until hardened and firm.

Notes

  • If the almond bark is not melting uniformly, stir more frequently to avoid burning.
  • Make sure the mixture cools enough before adding M&Ms and marshmallows to prevent them from melting and losing texture.
  • Store the finished candy clusters in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or refrigerate for longer freshness.
  • You can swap pastel M&Ms with other holiday-themed candies to customize for different celebrations.
  • Use a silicone spatula to easily stir and scoop the sticky mixture.
