Description
Little Caesars Italian Cheese Bread is a crispy, golden garlic bread loaded with melted mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning. Perfect as a snack or appetizer, this easy-to-make bread combines buttery garlic flavor with gooey cheese for an irresistible treat.
Ingredients
Dough
- 16 oz frozen pizza dough
Butter Garlic Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning (divided: 1 tsp for butter mixture, 1 tsp for topping)
Toppings
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Thaw Dough: Let the frozen pizza dough thaw in the refrigerator overnight. About 30 minutes before baking, remove it from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature for easier handling.
- Prepare Pan: Heavily spray a metal cake pan with nonstick cooking spray. Optionally, line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal later.
- Press Dough: Lightly press the room temperature dough into the prepared pan, making sure to keep the dough thick and even.
- Make Garlic Butter: Melt the butter and mix it together with the minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning to create a flavorful garlic butter sauce.
- Brush Dough: Pour and brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the surface of the dough, covering to the edges.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, pressing lightly to push cheese towards the edges for full coverage.
- Season: Sprinkle the remaining 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning over the cheese for extra flavor.
- Bake: Bake the cheese bread in a preheated oven at 400ºF for 12 minutes. Then switch to low broil for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese topping turns golden brown. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.
- Slice and Serve: Remove the bread from the oven and carefully take it out of the pan. Use a pizza cutter to slice into 10 cheesy garlic bread sticks.
- Enjoy: Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping or prepare extra garlic buttery sauce for added flavor.
Notes
- letting the dough come to room temperature before pressing helps with an even texture.
- Watch carefully during broiling as the cheese can burn quickly.
- Use parchment paper to avoid sticking and ensure easy removal from the pan.
- Can be stored covered at room temperature for a day or reheated in the oven for a few minutes.
