Description
Delicious and easy Air Fryer Salmon Bites featuring tender salmon cubes tossed in a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce. Ready in just 20 minutes, this recipe offers a quick and healthy seafood option perfect for a light meal or appetizer with minimal fuss and maximum flavor.
Ingredients
Salmon Bites
- 1 pound skinless salmon filet, cut into 1-inch cubes
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
- Season salmon: Add the cubed salmon to a mixing bowl and season well with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss gently to coat all pieces evenly with the seasoning.
- Add sauce: To the same bowl, pour in the melted butter, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Toss everything together thoroughly so that the salmon bites are well coated in the lemon garlic butter mixture.
- Air fry salmon bites: Place an air fryer liner in the air fryer basket to catch drips and prevent the sauce from falling through. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 to 7 minutes until cooked through and slightly golden. For larger batches, cook the salmon in two batches. There is no need to shake the basket during cooking.
- Serve them up: Transfer the cooked salmon bites to a serving dish. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, or use as a protein topping on salads or macro bowls. Drizzle any remaining garlic lemon butter from the bowl over the top for extra flavor.
Notes
- Use an air fryer liner or parchment paper designed for air fryers to prevent sauce drips and for easier cleanup.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure the salmon bites cook evenly and get slightly crispy edges.
- Salmon bites can be served as an appetizer or main dish paired with vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
- Adjust lemon juice amount to taste for more tangy flavor if desired.
- To keep bites juicy, avoid overcooking; check at 5 minutes and cook slightly longer only if needed.
